WHEN SHOULD I SEND MY SAVE THE DATES AND/OR WEDDING INVITATIONS?
Save the Date - 6-8 months prior to your wedding date.
Wedding Invitation - 2 months prior to your wedding date (longer if you did not send save the dates).
Destination Weddings - 4 months prior to your wedding date (longer if you did not send save the dates).
Don’t forget to account for delivery time needed to mail your envelopes to your guests.
I work with a limited number of clients each month, so we recommend that you begin the order process as early as possible to ensure that your invitations are ready in plenty of time.
HOW MANY INVITATIONS SHOULD I ORDER?
A good rule of thumb is to count addresses rather than individuals, since invitations are typically mailed to households. Add 15-20 extra invitations to give yourself room for last minute changes to your guest list, any you might misplace or damage, and keepsakes to have photographed along with your other day-of details.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
The price for shipping will vary depending on the size of your project (not your location). Shipping is calculated once your invitations are completed and weighed. The average shipping charge is anywhere between $20 to $100. Please keep in mind that customs and import duties are levied by the receiving country and are therefore the client’s responsibility.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO RUSH MY ORDER?
Rush orders are taken on a case-by-case basis. Please email me before submitting your order, and let me know what items, quantities and specifications your order will be and I will let you know as soon as possible if your desired date is possible or not. If your desired date is possible, a 25% rush fee will be added to your total to accommodate the rush order.
